Watching acestream & sopcast through XBMC install on ubuntu 14.04 – Sept 2014

September 29, 2014 Leave a comment

Seems the easiest option to be fair – install XBMC and then add the p2p add on via a zip file (don’t worry it will install OK through XMBC not ubuntu)

XMBC program for ubuntu 14.04 HERE Fully working with wizi 🙂 live footy made easy EXCELLENT

Download the repository from XBMC forum go HERE (This is the P2P ADD ON you NEED) *** follow the instructions on the forum **** its a zip file and works fine (Even with linux through XMBC)

add on – p2p stream parsers ( etc) download the files, you need the latest and then add via XMBC – LOCAL NOT remote

**** Link here to one click **** click the link required and then click RAW to download the tar.gz file – Config LINK HERE ****

Installing XBMC
sudo apt-get install python-software-properties pkg-config
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc

note: I installed ace player HD and had issues so reformatted the whole system (os loaded from scratch) reinstalled the OS and then XBMC and cured all errors with acestream not playing !!!

ACE stream install on LINUX September 2014

Shame to waste all this free BT infinity speed so its time for ACE stream install on linux and android – Android is dead easy google search ace stream engine (not available on the play store for reasons I’d guess it not being 100% legit) and for watching the streams use torrent stream controller (available on a Russian site) install them and get busy (its really easy)

Linux / Lubuntu is a pain in the arse via terminal loads of errors still no joy as yet (back soon with a fix

Link here copy it clicking gives an error
